// THE MISSION
THE IMPOSSIBLE
WHY I'M DOING
I am running in memory of my father, Francis Meyvaert, who passed away due to the effects of Alzheimer's. With this initiative, I want not only to honor his memory but also to contribute to the fight against this devastating disease. Every donation goes entirely to research into Alzheimer's, a condition that affects not only the patient but also has a huge impact on family, friends, and loved ones.
Running 7 marathons across 7 continents in 7 days means pushing your body to the absolute limit — through exhaustion, pain, and moments where every step feels impossible. But that's exactly the point. The physical struggle is nothing compared to what families dealing with Alzheimer's endure every day.
"The pain of running is temporary. The impact of giving is permanent."
